Problem Note 42172: Function names longer than 16 characters fail when using %SYSFUNC

FCMP can be used to write your own SAS functions, up to 32 characters long. If a function larger than 16 characters is used within %SYSFUNC the following error will be generated:
ERROR: The longfunctioname11 function referenced in the
%SYSFUNC or %QSYSFUNC macro function is not found.
This is fixed in SAS 9.3. The only circumvention prior to SAS 9.3 is to use function names less than or equal to 16 characters.
